VA Central was founded in September 2020 by UK Estate Agency Owner and Mentor, Sanjay Gandhi, and Business, Operations and Marketing Specialist, Bronwyn Schmidt.

This is VA Central’s story…

A fan of using Virtual Assistants to fulfill a wide range of roles in his businesses, Sanjay has extensive knowledge of the UK’s property market and is well-networked in the property industry. Bronwyn is a seasoned Business Operations Manager with many years of experience in sales and marketing across diverse industries, six of which were spent working as a Senior Virtual Assistant for US and UK companies.

By late 2020, Bronwyn had been working as Sanjay’s Executive Virtual Assistant for five years from her home base in Cape Town. Then, the advent of the Covid pandemic triggered a property boom in the UK. At the same time, Covid lockdowns brought the need for significant changes to UK estate agents’ business models – including greater use of digital communication tools and business management software. In discussion with numerous estate agents through his mentoring business, Moss Mentors, it became clear to Sanjay, and to Bronwyn, that sourcing and keeping good estate agency support staff was a huge challenge. The need for Virtual Assistants quickly became apparent.

Today, Sanjay and Bronwyn have grown VA Central to over 70 extraordinary Virtual Assistants, whose specialist skills range from administration and bookkeeping to project management, customer service, design and social media marketing. Future expansion plans will see VA Central venture into supporting estate agencies in the whole of the United Kingdom and Europe, as well as venturing into other industries.
